Restoring Hope.

Quality of Life is Our Highest Priority.

What We Treat

What was Recently Inoperable has Become Treatable

The CyberKnife System has created new reasons for hope in the fight against cancer. This hope stems from the fact that the system creates a situation for treatment options that were previously non-existent. Tumors previously considered medically inoperable and patients who were ineligible for surgery or chemotherapy were at a loss for treatment options.

Even in cases where traditional surgery was historically considered the best (or only) treatment, CyberKnife often enables us to achieve outcomes that are equivalent or better. And we do it on an outpatient basis without anesthesia, incision, scarring, pain, a hospital stay, downtime or the risks associated with surgery. CyberKnife radiosurgery stands to serve as an outstanding alternative in the treatment of a multitude of tumors including:

  • Brain
  • Spine
  • Lung
  • Prostate
  • Head & Neck
  • Pancreas
  • Liver
  • Kidney

Through this breakthrough technology we’ve been able to create hope where there was none, treat ailments previously though incurable and improve the quality of life of our patients. Given that CyberKnife is an outstanding treatment alternative, CyberKnife is also highly useful as an adjunctive therapy. We can use it in many cases in combination with conventional radiation therapy or chemotherapy to maximize treatment efficacy. It can also used prior to surgical resection or after surgical debulking to minimize the impact of surgery.

While some cancer surgeries have considerable risk of complication, CyberKnife generally has far fewer risks. Yet, we recognize that surgeons’ intimate knowledge of anatomical structures is vital to radiosurgical treatment. This is why we work with surgeons and encourage their involvement in the management of the patient and the planning of treatment.
