Meghann L. Hayley
Office Manager
Meghann Hayley began her career in the healthcare industry with TriWest Healthcare Alliance, shortly thereafter joining TeamPraxis, a medical billing service in Hawaii. As an Account Manager with TeamPraxis, she managed teams covering seven different specialties’ medical billing and collection services. Her most recent role was as the Billing Manager for the Retina Institute of Hawaii, a large, multi-island practice. Meghann holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from DeVry University, with a focus on health service administration.
Guangwei Mu, Ph.D
Medical Physicist
Guangwei Mu is an ABR board certified medical physicist with extensive training in treatment planning and QA for multiple radiation oncology treatment systems. He received a BS in Nuclear Engineering with from the University of Science and Technology of China in 1996. After working briefly as a software engineer for Alcatel Shanghai Bell Co., he moved to Oklahoma to pursue multiple degrees in physics and electrical engineering. In 1998, he completed an MS in Engineering Physics and in 1999 an MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering. In 2004, he earned his Ph.D in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a dissertation on Error, Integrity and Availability Modeling in WAAS landing aviation system. Following his work as a post doctoral fellow, Dr. Mu moved to California to join the University of California, San Francisco as a post doctoral fellow in the Department of Radiation Oncology for two years. Dr. Mu became a CAMPEP-accredited medical physics resident at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities Department of Radiation Oncology, during which his two-year residency included comprehensive clinical training in radiation oncology physics training. He then moved to New York to become the Chief Physicist for Flushing Radiation Oncology Service, supervising the physics, dosimetry and radiation therapy teams for CyberKnife and conventional radiation treatment systems.
Angela Panek, RN, BSN, OCN
CyberKnife Coordinator
Angela Panek earned her BA in psychology from CU in Boulder 1999. She fell in love with the oncology field when volunteering for a camp for kids with cancer for nine years as director. She completed the accelerated nursing program at Regis University in Denver, receiving her BSN in 2002. After working at Rose Medical for one year on a general nursing floor, she decided to specialize in oncology, working for over two years in an outpatient pediatric oncology office. Angela then began working at Rocky Mountain Cancer Center, an outpatient oncology center for adults with cancer and has taught at two nursing schools in the area for the past two years.
Mark Post, RTT
Radiation Therapist
Martin (Mark) Post graduated from the University of Iowa Radiation Therapy Program in August 1997. After working as a standard Radiation Therapist for the next five years, Mark accepted a position with the 8th CyberKnife Center installed in the U.S. in March 2003. Over the following six years, Mark was involved with numerous Alpha and Beta testing protocols and 1st time treatments, utilizing many of the CyberKnife features and upgrades being used worldwide today. He has performed treatment on more than 4,000 fractions of tumors and has vast experience with all of the tracking methods used within the CyberKnife System.
Catherine Williams
Medical Liaison
Catherine (Cathie) Williams graduate from Quinnipiac University with a Bachelors of Science in Radiologic Sciences. Cathie went on to earn her MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Cathie spent several years selling capital medical equipement, with a primary focus in diagnostic imaging. She then joined Accuray, selling the CyberKnife Robotic Radiosurgery System. During her time at Accuray, Cathie sold many systems along the West Coast. With a passion for the CyberKnife technology, and a desire to travel less, Cathie relocated to Colorado and joined the Denver CyberKnife team.
Kathleen Eccles
Medical Administrative Assistant
Kathy Eccles attended Presbyterian Medical Center School of Radiologic Technology and worked in radiology for many years in private clinics and at the Fort Logan Medical Center. She later decided to start a new career as an Administrative Assistant in the Hotel Hospitality Industry as well as Meetings and Incentives Travel. Following her experience in these fields, Kathy returned to the medical arena as a Patient Services Specialist for a Physical Therapy Company.
Desiree Ortiz
Medical Administrative Assistant
Desiree Ortiz graduated from Pickens Technical College with a CNA. She has worked with Dementia and Alzheimer's patients in assisted living communities. Desiree wanted to persue her medical career and recently completed the Medical Assistant program at Concorde Career College in Denver, Colorado. Desiree also has many years of general administrative assistant experience as well as customer service experience.
